In MSTS I like being able to select a route and then a pre-made consist and then drive it along. I also like being able to run pre-prepared activities.
In Trainz 2006 however each time I want to run a train on a route where it hasn't run before I have to recreate the consist from scratch. Excuse my ignorance but is it possble to save a consist so that it can be used in all routes? Rather than recreating it for each route.
Also is is possible to download pre-made activities or are they called something different in Trainz?
I apologise if this sounds silly but I would just like to make Trainz a bit easier to use.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. | There is a way to save consists you make up and i only found out how to last night whilst saving some 100 + length freights which it use to be a pain always re-making them over and over again and its pretty easy to do...
Click on Locomotives and Rollingstock in Surveyor.
Then go to already made consists.
Click on the Grab tool.
And then click on your made consist.
Once you have clicked on it a box will appear saying name your consist.
And then your consist is saved.
Cheers , hope this is of help to you.

You know you can save a consist and map in driver. You make your consist, select a map and track mark, go to settings, click save and name it. After that you just select that preset consist/s and if you want to run it on a different map then click terrain, select your map and trackmark and off you go.

@NSWRTM123
This only works in Trainz 1.3 and UTC, not TRS2004/6 or TC.
