Err...that was a little unexpected!

I'll continue this competition, which locomotive is this?



HINT: If you can work out where the photo was taken, or what the service is, you can narrow down the possible locomotives rather fast.

I'll go with X44 testing the Ararat line before passenger trains were back on that section of line. But from what i can see P22 and H4 arn't there so it could be the Waurn Ponds cement train with X37.

Spot on! It is X37 on the up Waurn Ponds Cement. The train is located between Anglesea Rd and Ghazeepore Rd, about 1km from the cement works, and the photo was taken from Hams Rd.
