judging by the grille behind the front cab means she is in the first 80 of the class.

and that it doesn't have number boxes on the No.2 end says its in the first 60 of the class.

4705-44201NB has it with 4451 well done. Clap

It was photographed on the Dunheved Branch in 1995 awaiting scrapping.



Just hints for interstaters and newbies with 44 class.
4401+4460 had no number boards on the #2 end
4461-44100 did and
4480-44100 dont have a mesh panel between the cab window and entry door

just a small correction 4481-44100 had no panel between the cab and the side entry door.

Thanks sashmo i couldnt remember if it was 4480 or 4481 the mod started with.

its not 8158
its not the first PN'd 81 class 8113
its not 8111 although that one is a recently painted 81
and fast01 yes 8118 is the most recent PN'd 81 class so are you actually guessing 8118 or are you just making a statement?
