The LVR Easter programme ex Cowra is planned as below.

On Monday the first shuttle will operate ex Cowra at 0900 to Koorawatha with the 3801 Limited trip back to Sydney.

21st –24th MARCH 2008
COWRA SHUTTLES –EASTER TRIPS

THE FOLLOWING TIMETABLE WILL APPLY:

Friday 21st March

SS80 will depart Cowra 0900, arrive Koorawatha 0940, reverse, form SS81.
SS81 will depart Koorawatha 1000, arrive Cowra 1055, form SS82.
SS82 will depart Cowra 1130, arrive Koorawatha 1210, reverse, form SS83.
SS83 will depart Koorawatha 1230, arrive Cowra 1325 terminate
SS84 will depart Cowra 1400, arrive Noonbinna 1415, reverse, form SS85.
SS85 will depart Noonbinna 1435, arrive Cowra 1455 t, form SS86.
SS86 will depart Cowra 1530, arrive Noonbinna 1545, reverse, form SS87.
SS87 will depart Noonbinna 1605, arrive Cowra 1625, stable.
Consist: Steam Locomotives 3237, 5917, 4 x FS, RBS = 201 tonnes, 141 metres.

Saturday 22nd March

SR80 will depart Cowra 0900, arrive Noonbinna 0915, form SR81.
SR81 will depart Noonbinna 0925, arrive Cowra 0940, form SR82.
SR82 will depart Cowra 1130, arrive Koorawatha 1210, form SR83.
SR83 will depart Koorawatha 1310, arrive Cowra 1350, form SR84.
SR84 will depart Cowra 1400, arrive Noonbinna 1415, form SR85.
SR85 will depart Noonbinna 1425, arrive Cowra 1440, stable.
Consist: 3 x CPH Railmotors = 75 tonnes, 40.8 metres.
SS88 will depart Cowra 1000, arrive Koorawatha 1040, g, depart 1050, arrive Young
1229, g, water locos, depart 1329, pass Demondrille 1446, arrive Harden 1500, turn
locos on Harden turntable, form SS89.
SS89 will depart Harden 1645, pass Demondrille 1654, arrive Young 1745, g, water
cars, depart 1855, arrive Koorawatha 2025, g, depart 2035, arrive Cowra 2115, stable
Cowra Loco.
Consist: Steam Locomotives 5917, 3237, SWT 12, FS, RBS, FS, FS = 215 tonnes,
135 metres.

Sunday 23rd March

SS80 will depart Cowra 0900, arrive Koorawatha 0940, reverse, form SS81.
SS81 will depart Koorawatha 1000, arrive Cowra 1100, form SS82.
SS82 will depart Cowra 1130, arrive Koorawatha 1210, reverse, form SS83.
SS83 will depart Koorawatha 1230, arrive Cowra 1330, form SS84.
SS84 will depart Cowra 1400, arrive Noonbinna 1415, reverse, form SS85.
SS85 will depart Noonbinna 1435, arrive Cowra 1455, form SS86.
SS86 will depart Cowra 1530, Koorawatha 1610, reverse, form SS87.

SS84 will depart Cowra 1400, arrive Koorawatha 1440, reverse, form SS85.
SS85 will depart Koorawatha 1500, arrive Cowra 1600, form SS86.
SS86 will depart Cowra 1630, arrive Noonbinna 1645, reverse, form SS87.
SS87 will depart Noonbinna 1705, arrive Cowra 1720, stable.
Consist: Steam Locomotives 3237, 4 x FS, RBS = 201 tonnes, 141 metres.

why would team Navara want to go to the lvr in Cowra for? there is nothing there that would take their interest



lets save the kingaroy branch before the rails are lifted and becomes like the brisbane valley line

They were there when 5917 ran the trial run and ran havoc revving and ruining photo's, everyone I have spoken to that was there said the same thing Rolling Eyes (Hopes they'll make a positive impression this time)

I'm not sure what I'll be doing yet, I'll definately be riding on at least one train and making a donation of sorts.
I must say the fares are bloody cheap at $5 - $12 for adults and $3 - $6 for children.

I think Greg was referring to the post 4 above.

That said i reckon the answer is C "an opertional 59 class", the D group @ankers have their own 59 to jerk off over but like most other items up there its static.

According to their locomotive guide they have 2 x 59 class, 5908 and 5910. Like you said they're static.
