Hi all, ok, I'm new here but my interest is mostly in train pics (taking them first and looking at them. I see there's a link to the left of screen saying "Image Gallery". I click it and it says access denied and something about testers. What's the deal here? I did try a search but stopped it after 5 minutes of it doing nothing.
Cheers in advance......Mick.

It's down and has been for well over a year. I have no idea when it will be re-instated either. Have a look in the "Railpage Australia™" forum. You'll probably find your answer there.

There's about 50 threads about the status of the Gallery in the Railpage Australia™ forum - where this thread should be.

Ok, thanks guys. As I mentioned, I DID do a search but the search function is really really slow. Plus, I'm still finding my way around. And, i'm new to the whole rail thing and just trying to understand the lingo is quite a feat.
Cheers.......Mick.

Mick, on this forumboard scroll down to the base where you will find:
Go to page...
If you scroll through the last 5 or 6 pages of the Railpage Australia™ forum you will find the thread titles that obviously are connected to the topic of the Image Gallery. There are plenty to choose from. After reading through just a few of them you'll rapidly grasp the present situation regarding the Image Gallery.

While we are on the subject of the image gallery - how about bringing the Photo of the Month competition back, without using the gallery?
You could have something like where submissions are emailed to a person who would upload them to a thread (without names) with a number and make a poll for them to be voted on . Just a thought.

Good thinking, I've been missing the photo comp quite a bit lately.

Would it be asking too much to simply remove the link temporarily to the image gallery and restore it when it is back on line, would save a lot of time and effort not to mention bandwith! Just an idea!
