That sleeper transporter and the ballast cleaner are very interesting units,

It's great seeing this sort of stuff instead of the usual locos,

Thanks for posting them Greg,

Chris

Thanks for sharing the shots there 42101, I went through the worksite myself on Saturday and my driver and myself were very interested in those wagons pictured in the frist shot.

There were a few others sitting on those Sleeper wagons not to sure if they were all spoil wagons as one of them seemed to be a big orange steel rectangle. Confused

Would you know the wagon codes for those new spoil wagons mate it looked like a RQYW from distance but not sure.

Cheers, Michael Smile

Great work there as usual 42101 - those pics of RTX1B should come in particularly useful in the future, as I intend to model the sleeper set ... eventually Laughing .

Gotta love the pics on this thread, great detail pics for making models.
I Will have to take my camera to work for some steel wagons shots and also some 'BHP' survivors that not many know still exist.

Was wondering though, although this seems to be a modern era thread, do any of the older members on here have pics of S and K trucks loaded with 44 gal' drums, timber, wool bales and bags of grain?
Would be interested in seeing those for modelling purposes.

Anyone happen to have shots of a CFCLA 'CQBY' (or its' equivalents by other owners), CQAY/CQLY or CQEY?

I've put some shots of CQAY/CQLY, CQBY and CQEY on my web site. The page isn't linked to the resources page so you'll need to go to http://www.hanovale.com.au/cfcla/

Sorry about the CQAY/CQLY shots - the train sneaked up on me and I wasn't in a real good position.

Very well appreciated, thanks! Wink Confirms my suspicion that the CQAY rebuilds were pretty darn variable. Also that the 2nd batch of CQBY was a hell of a lot different than the first! Just makes life a little more interesting though, I guess!
