Phil,

Once again you have posted here stating you have errors but you have not posted what the exact error messages are or what you are doing when you experience them. This leaves those of us with possible solutions for you in the dark and we end up playing 20 questions with you. I’m sick of that game.

Like the captain from the movie Das Boot we “need accurate damage reports!”

Download the latest version of Xtracks and NewRoads from Steam4me. Read the instructions and obey them as if they were the word of God. Reinstall these packages, which will in turn restore any missing textures or shape files.

Thousands of people download these packages and they don’t have missing textures or shape files. This means there must be something different about your computer. My strong suspicion is that human intervention is the cause of most of the issues you are experiencing. My advise to you would be to stop fiddling with your MSTS installation if you don’t know what you are doing.

Here we go again.

This time I won't take the Bait !!! I'll just sit back and view this with great amusement.

Cheers,

Craig.

Texture files for Xtracks and Newroads are in the route builder's packages and are usually distributed with a route.
Shape files for Xtracks and Newroads are packaged in end-user installers.

See the steam4me site for full details.

There seems to be a patten forming here, take a look at this thread http://www.railpage.com.au/f-t11340480.htm. Now I have said this before and I will say it again and I invite the Rath of the Moderators, I feel that our friend Phill is trying to upset our MSTS community. Now after witnessing a huge departure of many talented people from these forums, how many "Childish Treads" can one start...........GET A LIFE !!!

Craig.
