Firstly, nice pic Polar Tiger Smile

Caught VL41 at Werribee this morning as it arrived from Geelong at 1030. Couldn't believe it when I realised it was that particular V/Locity. Heres: a couple of pics from the phone after sprinting up the ramp:

It left for Geelong shortly after (while I was trying to get a pic of the other end)

Drats! I wish I had of known that was there, I would have made an effort to walk down to the station.

I must say, It does look awesome... I just hope VL 37 becomes 3 Car, IF it does, It'll definetly be my favorite Vline Carriage... unless they convert an BZN to First class.

Yes, 1337 will be in existence.
As stated on these forums previously, VLocities 41 to 18, in that order, will have three cars; except there won't be a 1329 (no VL29).

So first set out - 1241-1341-1141
second - 1240-1340-1140
third - 1239-1339-1139
fourth - 1238-1338-1138
fifth - 1237-1337-1137

and so on.

Will take two months for each existing unit to be 'three-carred'

Hah, I think it just found itself a name!

I was at Werribee Station under an hour ago waiting for my bus and I heard a Vlo horn (I didn't see it arriving as I was distracted by a bus) and looked over and saw a Vlo leaving towards Geelong and as it slipped past the Siemens, I noticed it was VL41!!1 I saw it!!! Win!!

I must say, It did look remotely odd but generally it doesn't look too bad, The 1300 Car does make the train look exceptionally longer due to the clean-lines in the Vlocity design.

It has my approval, I just wish I was standing on Platform 3 to have seen It... Also, It stopped on the platform

VL 41 ran to Geelong again today, saw it on the down at Little River at 11am, with a 2 car unit attached to the back.

I saw it at Southern Cross this afternoon, went past it near Telstra Dome on the 1655 down Marshall.

Looks nice with the third car, actually.

The second set was VL18,they arrived into the SCS railmotor yard at around 1535,VL18 was later uncoupled and probably ran a peak hour service.

I was able to see VL41 at Southern Cross this evening. I was unable to get a full view of the unit because of Sprinters and VLocity unit 9 being in the way.

Full size image can be seen here: http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk219/vlineoperations/VLocity%20160%20DMUs/DSC_0148-VLocityUnit41.jpg

So is VL41 running passenger services yet, or still in testing?
