If what I have been told is true, SCT will need all the G's back in about 3 months. Lets just wait and see.

The contractor who SCT got to do the logos decided to send a bloke wearing sandals to apply the decal.
So he was sent off site and told him not to come back until he got some boots.
he never came back, so the loco never got logos,
Chris

It could just be that SCT Logistics are ONE of the frontrunners to buy the FreightLink business.
On the other hand, as has also been suggested it could just be the pre-Chritsmas interstate rush to the West, that usually starts late August/ early September. That would require half a dozen of the Gs back with SCT at least
wait a minute, didn't I say they were going to be scrapped?

What about a Brisbane service? How far is this off?, if it actually gets off the ground. Lots of talk about a Brisbane service for a very long time.

Why would you scrap something that was given to you for next to nothing, if not free, you could on sell them and make a nice bit of cash. I would expect PN to chop them up, but not SCT.

Maybe Sims want to get the g's and run scrap trains
as opposed to scrapping the trains.
