hey everyone, i hate to use forums for this type of thing but sometimes we have to do it and my normal volkswagen forums probably won't yield the info i am after!!!
i am hoping someone here will be able to supply me with or even be a contact for me in regards to signalling hut/switching huts in victoria. we produce concrete security cabins, we're just about to start production in victoria and we have no contacts down there in the rail dept. and due to the sometime slow moving nature of the rail beurocracy it's going to be hard to get our foot in the door...........or atleast more than a brochure on a desk rather than in a bin!! if there is anyone who can help steer me in in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
also it would be handy to get an idea of any looming projects/upgrades that my be on the cards and in what areas so if there is anywhere on the site that may have this info a steer that way would be nice. cheers everyone.

Do you have any photos of the type of work that you do?

I would have thought ARTC for the SG tracks and haven't V/Line taken back responsibility for the rest of the Victorian network? Aside from that, the recent RFR works have probably installed new kit on the other 4 major lines out of Melb anyway.

My pics here - and the Forsayth Goods here!

I doubt if 'the railways' themselves buy many such structures. They tend engage project managers and contractors who would then source all the equipment for a given project. You may be better off trying to contact the many private contracting firms who do signalling or electrical infrastructure work in Victoria.
