Just found an even better way to download the Tunnel route.
Go to http://www.railsim.nl and sign up for a free account there.
It's partly in English and a bit hard to understand but its sufficient. Unlike UKTS which has a 2KBPS download limit and most times a waiting queue. This site doesn't and has better download speeds. On my wireless I've been getting speeds of 12 KBPS. Enjoy!

You, good sirs, are scholars and gentlemen to the last man.
I've just done a quick burn over to Calais, and it was tres grouse. I used the Acela, because I was in a rush (I'm supposed to be working), but later I'll download some more prototypical rolling stock, and have a poke about the rest of the route.
Thanks lads.

Still having fun with this. I downloaded the British Eurostar, which is nice eye candy. The physics seem a little odd. You can pull it up under hard braking from 270kmh in about three feet (well, it seems like it). The cab is strange too (lots of stuff doesn't work), but it's a fun thing to drive nonetheless.
I then took my CPH railmotor along the line. heh. Looked weird sitting at Lille. Anyway this particular CPH is the Lebanese version. I got it up to about four and a half thousand kilometres per hour - if you've ever done this you'll know how MSTS can't render the track ahead in time, and you often find yourself driving across grass. I was out of the tunnel before I knew it, and emergency braked, but still ran through the buffers at the British end at about Mach 1.
I might take the 38er for a run on it later... Or some 48s on a wheatie. I loves me my realism.

It's 104MB, though.

I haven't downloaded the Channel Tunnel route, but I have downloaded another route on that site which covers Chicago in the pre Amtrack days with the multiple City terminuses for the different railway companies. As most of the passenger trains on this route use Amtrak carriages I decided to change some of the consists to make it more realistic. I like routes that involve city terminals. I would recommended this route if you like that sort of thing.
Thanks
Geoffrey

I'm assuming it's the German or French originated ICE, not QR.
