EMD-SD45X Yeah mate it sure was fragrent wasnt it someone should investigate those new blocks of flats as i think that is where it is coming in from.

Why wouldn't that surprise me? Apparantly the block I'm in had a similar "issue" about a year after being built ... sewerage came out the front lawn and flooded some of the ground floor apartments - great quality workmanship. Rolling Eyes

I wonder if the sewage smell had migrated from St Marys?

(St Marys had a problem with a mysterious smell near the station, which popped in and out a few times in the past year or so (?). Been in the local papers many times. I write this so you know I wasn't just ragging on the town.)

Murasaki the smell at St Marys comes from South Creek.

Are you sure its from South Creek?
The creek is closer to Werrington station than Stmarys, and the smell seems to linger mostly around the city end of the platform.
(unless we've experienced a different StMarys odour than the one you're talking about Smile )
