Not a bad video mate, good work!

Might I also say I'm disgusted at the d1cks in the green Camry wagon who were tailgating me to get a good photo spot for the Nannie in the Clarence Colliery loop. And also for the people who jumped the fence and were standing in the rail corridor to get "the shot". And also the idiot gunzel who jumped across the main west between Bell and Newnes Jct. Those who partake in behaviour like this need to be kicked up the smeg to the full force of the Rail Safety Act.

You may have a vest, you may even have the authority, but you do not have the right to put yourself and others lives at risk by being involved in completely idiotic driving, arrogant "I Have a safety vest thence I am indestructible" attitude and other associated behaviour.

Grow up!

Other than that, we had quite an enjoyable day chasing the only train to run. Pics soon to follow when It's not 0150 and when I'm not so pissed as a parrot that I can edit my shots properly.

Do you have any idea how the 50 minute trip ended up taking 3 hours?

It turns out all trips after that one were cancelled

Pathing issues was one, the 35 also had steaming issues that I don't need to go into.

The train from Sydney was quite late arriving at Katoomba due to one of the locomotives (I'm not sure which one) experiencing some difficulties. Perhaps someone in a postion to know could elaborate on this. By the time 3526 had arrived at Clarence colliery and had been serviced the train had well and truly lost its path back to Katoomba. If the second shuttle had run the train returning to Sydney from Katomba would have been seroiusly late. As it was, the first shuttle with 3526 arrived back at Katoomba on what should have been the path of the second shuttle.
I understand that today's train (Sunday) from Sydney to Katoomba has the diesels on the back (probably as insurance) so I'll be interested to read some reports on how things ran today.
