After the School holidays, the first Sprinter, H Set & N set should be shopped for the announced refurbishment, (Sprinter & H Set) and further power door mods to N Sets.

The likely candidates to appear in the colors are FSH25 & VN 18 with matching locos N468, & P 11.

Time will tell.

The color scheme will be different to say the least, then again in 1981 tangerine was loud.

Oh you must be joking! I just got used to that yuk Red and Blue. Why don't V/LINE get back to a nice even scheme...... say dark blue and gold, now that would look nice. Laughing Still that V/LINE Pass red is yuk and the VLocity color is worse. Puke

When I looked at VN18 the other day, the tangerine underneath was showing where the current paint has flaked off...

Yes, that was fast01's point.

I personally don't think that making them all purple is a good idea. Painting the V/locities purple distinguishes them from all other trains in Victoria. Painting anything else purple makes the new special trains less special.

I'm sure the marketing commitee, sorry, marketing team, will compile a report detailing this important matter.

Orange causes hostility, so that's a no-no; but maybe blue since it seems to have a calming effect.

Might work on the bogans down south, but then again, they're all too permanently trashed to notice.

The Teacup livery was NOT a Vline livery,it was a Vicrail livery.

To let everyone else know, The chosen livery IS Purple and Green, it was stated sometime ago in an edition of AMRA Journal. Seats to be refurbished, new carpet, and improved toilets.

I'm Bored, So What Else Is There To Do?

Purple and green will feature, so will red, white, & grey!!!!

I hope they get some acid restistant paint this time, as they opted for elcheapo stuff in the past that faded badly & corroded after a few dozen washes, take a look at some sets.
The stuff the NSW RTM uses on there locos seems to look the best.

The Grey applied to the PCJ vans and previously to Murray & Norman & still state car 5 appears to have lasted lasted the longest.....

I wonder if it will be anything like the V/Line coach that Z1_BOY photographed in Warrnambool a while back, and Vicrailpics got a few photos of a couple of days later?
