8203 For you NR52 is in kewdale arrived this morning.

Also last friday NR85 showed its first appearance into perth coming in on 1SP2 and leaving on 6PM5.

Should be in melbourne now.

Not every NR goes to melbourne after repaint.

NR16,45 & 52 Never did.

Yes that only means it arrived there on BM2 llike I've already said! That doesn't mean its still there and not every repainted NR heads there after they come out, as Squeek has said 16, 45 and 52 never did!

I am not sure if it is still the go, but in the past any loco that had been re painted had to be weighed and certified. I belive part of the certificaion is an inspection that, on the NR's, is carried out at Spotswood. Hence the reason they all run to Melbourne shortly after re paint.

Maybe now they all do. But in the past not all the NRs have been stright there when they got painted.
