Hi,

This is merely a request for help with photos for a route I am currently building. I am looking for any photos you have which I can use for either reference and or to texture items. Any photos between Casula / Holsworthy and Macarthur are greatly appreciated and you will be acknowledged for your assistance. If your able to provide some could you please state whether or not I can use them for texturing.

I've already got a few from Nswrail.net and Wikipedia as well as more help from Google but more will be needed to make this project more realistic.

Lastly, i've got a progress thread for this on the Trainz forum here if anyone wishes to give some input to it about the design.

Thanks!

Here are 2 random shots of Ingleburn where I have been doing more work on lately. I plan to do some more work on Macquarie Fields tomorrow as there is only to bare platforms there at the moment.

The partially done overbridge:

@42101
Wow, thats quite a collection you've provided 42101. They'll be very useful in sign/foliage placement as well as some buildings.

Thanks a lot, your a legend!

@squeekazoid
It's something I have been building in Gmax for this project so it's not available on the DLS just yet.

Crazy-D, I'm guessing you're building the route in TRS2004 Question

If you can upgrade to 2006, you'll find realisitc NSW double-colout light and single-coulout light signals as part of the standard installation. You even get 2 Yellows or a Top Yellow for a turnout. Clap

It'd make it that bit more realistic than using those ugly American signals, if that's what you're aiming for.

I built the Enfield - Broadmeadow route using a mix of these signals and they function as they do in the real world, with a couple of minor exceptions, and these can be corrected with careful use of Rules within the Sim.

I've got a couple of the main south somewhere from the front of a train, so I'll dig them out and upload them when I can.

Hi,

I agree, those default signals in 2004 are very ugly and unrealistic. At the moment though I am stuck with it until I get a copy of TRS 2006. So, I guess they'll have to do for now.
