Dear Railpage Australia™ members,

I am seeking an upgrade to the PM area of this website, I was rather upset by the way it did not seem to be working the other day.

MY EXPERIENCE
I had sent a PM to a member, not knowing if it had been sent.

Being not sure about weather it had been sent or not, I clicked on send again. Still not sure, i chose to come back the following day.

Then the following day, I had sent the same message to the same member, again not being sure it was sent, this time I chose to wait a few days to see if I get a response.

I got one, in very large letters.

WHAT IS NEEDED
What I feel is needed is, when one clicks on 'submit' or send, to send the PM to whoever, Railpage Australia™ should then take one to the 'sent list'. List of sent messages, of which would contain at the top, the message of which I had just sent.

To conclude
What does everyone else feel about this issue?

Have you had the same experience?

Do you support this issue?

tj, in your PM's box, there is an "INBOX" and "OUTBOX" and a "SENTBOX". IT goes like this:

You click "Submit" and message goes to other person's Inbox, and your Outbox.

When they read it, the message goes from your Outbox to your Sentbox.

So if you have message in your outbox, then the other person hasn't read it yet. If it's in your Sentbox, then they have read it.

As I learnt a few months ago, PMs that are sent but yet unread by the recipient are in your Outbox. So, tj, just check your outbox if you are worried if the PM ahs been sent or not.

People who talk out their asre usually have bad breath.

Ok, I seem to have found the link.

However, when I sent the message, I was sent to some list, which did not show the message of which I had sent.

It would have been handy to of been taken straight to my sent box after a message had been sent.

Before I submit this, 4 new websites are due shortly. That is all I can say for now. But you will all get your chance to attack me on my web mastering skills.

That one extra click is a smeg isn't it? It doesn't happen in most email clients, and I for one don't see the point here.
