Hi All,

My username was "arctic" but I had to create a new account since reactivation did not seem to work following a email address / password change.

I have been locked out of my account for three to four weeks or so now since I changed my email address. The message I got was that an email with a clickable link would be sent so I could reactivate. The email was never received and so I am was locked out. Maybe I screwed something up? Can't find anything in the FAQ's etc about what to do.

My email works but perhaps the TPG server was "canning" emails from RP since I had to create this account using a Yahoo account (again new accounts using TPG email addresses did not work). I also tried posting in the beginners section where non registered users are supposed to be able to post but got a "SQL" error.

Tried sending a few tech support requests and left a phone message but nothing so far....

Can I get some help with this please? Or should I just stick with the new login?

Thanks in advance

I had the same problem when changing my e-mail address, though I found out afterwards that I had misplaced two letters and hence why I wouldn't of got the message. Embarassed

I talked to a friend of mine on MSN who was kind enough to PM an admin on my behalf, asking if he could re-activate my account. So if you PM an admin about your account locked out they will be able to re-actiavte you.

Hope this helps.

Did you check your TPG Junk Mail box?

Thanks for the hints.

I checked the junk email box - nothing there either.

I will PM an admin and see how things go.

Not a bug with the site. Most of the time the server sends the activation off fine - which leaves successful delivery out of our hands - but on a very rare occasion the server can't figure out who to send it to, and it gets stuck in the queue. I say very rarely because in those cases it's either because the domain name the address was listed under doesn't exist, their DNS has crashed or the user made a typo.

It's one of the few things on this site that actually works properly Smile
