DT, it looks like that image is a stock photo. I very much doubt that they would have nicked it from the web.
One of my stock photo's was used by AAP earlier in the week.

I see on that page that the ALLCO deputy has stood down.

RESPONSE TO INDICATIVE NON-BINDING PROPOSAL FOR THE ACQUISITION OF ASCIANO
As announced this morning, Asciano has received an indicative non-binding proposal for the acquisition of Asciano at $4.40 per security under a scheme of arrangement.
TPG Capital (“TPG”) and Global Infrastructure Partners (“GIP”) required that before any final binding proposal could be made, TPG and GIP needed to satisfactorily complete due diligence.
The Directors have considered the proposal and believe it undervalues the business and have decided not to agree to due diligence.

I can see a definite problem in that image (nothing to do with trains!).

Too many applications (16) running at the same time on your PC and thats not including your Browser! Where do you get time to do stuff in the rest of your life while waiting for your PC to do stuff?

Yep, things like a Volume, Safely Remove Hardware and a LAN cable unplugged icon are active processes - and the lappy's quite quick, thanks.

I think there are a lot of variables in the mix, Bing. The company has announced a big expansion in 2010 that requires $380m however they have a huge tranche due in the same year to repay a large slab of debt owing...plus another slab in 2012. I figure they'll figure it out but.....

Image opens in a new window

More importantly, is that someone's image nicked off the Web?

It sure is. It looks like one of Rocket's photos that he took last year out at Gheringhap on a El zorro training run into the grain loop at Nth G'long.

Some people let their photo's be used for that purpose. Apparently they git a bit of a commission from the news outlets... No idea how much, but it might be aroudn $20 or so...
