The Australian Greens leader is predicting the party will win the balance of power at the next Tasmanian state election.
The Greens won three seats in the ACT lower house on the weekend and the major parties will need their support to govern.
The party also achieved record results at the recent West Australian election and has strengthened its position in Federal opinion polls.
The Australian Greens leader, Senator Bob Brown, has told ABC Local Radio he believes Tasmanians are sick of majority State Government and mismanagement.
"Voters in the A-C-T have said 'well, we want better outcomes, we're going to go for a multi-party government, of one form or another. We'll put our trust in the Greens there'.
"I think that's very likely to happen at the next Tasmanian State election," Senator Brown said.

I'm wondering what will this mean for rail in the ACT? Particularly what will it mean fo recent light rail proposals?
