Hi guys

Yes, we're well aware of this problem. It's isolated to the Report Post module, and doesn't affect any other PMs sent.

I haven't had the time to sit down and figure out why it's playing up, and I can't spot a pattern to it yet. But it will get fixed Smile

Thanks.

I don't get any problems with this, but then I *always* open the PM popup in a new window, then open the message list in a new tab.

That wouldn't have any effect on it. Like I say, it's a problem with the Report Posts module Smile

Delete it. The contents of it don't actually exist, which is the crux of the problem.

I had the same thing, but there's more, and this might help solve the problem...

The pm was the autoresponse to my reporting one of MBAX's posts - I'll take a stab and say his missing PM was the autonotification about the same reported post. I don't know how the system works, but I find it hard to believe that's a coincidence.

I am SO moving to Victoria Street!!

It could've been about any reported post. The system has the ability to notify the reporter and/or the author of any action taken - but we won't always give you a response to your post/report Smile

The problem has never gone away yet. MGH™ like the rest of us, does have a day job he needs to perform "attendance" at that has a higher priority than RP. So the Admin team haven't had a chance to fix it yet.

There's a simple way to avoid the problem though, people.

Don't report posts and don't post inflammatory content that will cause other's to report your posts. Then you won't get the autonotifications and you won't have this problem Mr. Green

For those of you who still want to report posts, then if I'm the one closing it off, don't expect a notification about it, and if you get one, simply delete it.
