The rollingstock and structures previously available from G&E Models has been sold to Craig Dunstone of Blue And Gold Models who will launch most of the models as well as a new VR, BCE one piece body kit at the Croydon Model Railway Club's Annual Exhibition on the 13th and 14th of September, 2008 at the Croydon Secondary College.
As it will take time to set up production of these models, they will be available in limited numbers from Branchline, The Buffer Stop and the Victorian Hobby Centre by the end of the year.

Other VR rollingstock models in the range include: APL, BPL, BCPL, AV, BV passenger cars and C, CE, CW, CS/VHN brake vans.
Structure kits include VR brick station, VR 50’ goods shed, VR signal box, yardmasters office, ganger’s shed and rainwater tanks.

I agree, very interested in such items as the BCE, BPL/BCPL cars and the CE/CW vans. Smile

Prices??? Last price list was 2006.
The cost of materials has gone up since then, especially the whitemetal and brass prices. I hope to keep any price rise to a minimum, but some items may rise by about 5%.

Polyurethane is the material that the castings are made of as with previous models released by G&E Models.

Last few times I saw G&E Models at exhibitions, they didn't even have any price lists. Admittedly I was after the wholesale lists, but I couldn't even get a retail one. Not since TES Wholesale left Bayswater for Dubbo have I been successful in obtaining any G&E products. I realise there were various valid reasons for lack of stock, but I just gave up trying after several years.

Hope things will improve somewhat now. The products were great and I'm sure that part won't be changing. Very Happy

Hi Bruce,
I will be ordering some bogies soon as BGM now have the patterns. Not sure on the price yet but BGM and myself will be selling them for the same price. All kits will be sold with bogies supplied.

T356.
