Heard last weekend (can't remember specific date) running to Hurstbridge just before the first train of he morning.It was back at Geelong next to an N class this afternoon. I've never actually got a shot of it on the Geelong line, only ever around inner Melbourne.
An example, the current excrutiatingly slow speed restriction on the Lilydale Line at Surrey Hills is an example of an EM100 fault, and will be fixed in November.
Meanwhile back at Mitcham, I've noticed a fair bit of wheel slip on the Alstom's when accelerating away from Mitcham (Up direction), usually in the wet - haven't noticed it so much at other stations, was wondering if this was due to the track condition at Mitcham, or if wheelslip on acceleration is not so unusual (for Alstoms at least)
They go to a bogie exchange depot, where they remove the BG bogies and screw on an SG.
