What does PN General Freight do in SA. I thought it was only intermodal there.

Not sure what, if anything, they do now but used to operate the SCT service across to Perth.

G'day Fella's

dont know if the general freight thing for PN has anything to do with the Bemax sand and the Ore trains and for that matter the Interstate wheat trains thay run in SA cause at the moment i think they are looking for train crew to work some of these services mainly the Bemax sand train in and out of Adelaide. not 100% sure but.

here is a few that come to mind

Bemax sand - Broken Hill - Port Adelaide

Ore - Broken Hill - Port Pirie

Ore - Puttupa (south of Leigh Creek) - Port Pirie

Coal - Leigh Creek - Port Augusta

Some grain movements (usually SA silos to NSW or Vic)

Cheers,
Tony
On the road again, it's my yearly "paid holiday" time again! Very Happy
