Not quite sure where to put this, here or in the sydney forum. (now both)
Just wanted to ask, dose anyone know of some good weekend photos spots in the sydney area for freights with interesting combos etc....
Just got my new camera and want to go out to get some of my first photos that aren't heritage trains.
I drive so travel isn't a problem. Just want a place where i don't have to wait hours for interesting trains, or have people looking at me strangely

When i was in Sydney a few months ago RP member4426 no 2 End took my down the metro goods line for the day and it was bloody fantastic! We started at Marrickville then to Dulwich hill and the Canterbury. I took over 300 photos in I think 7hrs.

Campsie, Canterbury, Marrickville are all good because you catch all the traffic coming and going from Botany, and also all the traffic coming and going from the Illawarra as the come up from Meeks road triangle.

Coalies, Steelies, Stone, and various container traffic all day.
