    All quiet, so time for a hint then.

    Those rails are not the same gauge as what was laid when the line was built.

    It did seem reminiscent of that region. I seem to spy rails in the long grass on the formation, thus cutting out Western Vic.

    Will try Burrungule this time.

    Yes, it's actually one level crossing further west (Kongorong-Tantanoola Road), closer to Tantanoola, but as it's between Tantanoola and Burrungule, that's close enough.

    Its only 8 years since that line last saw a train - the LCR Red Hens (likewise the line through Wandilo - any photo there would include about a million pine trees, as it's surrounded by them).

    Mixed trains no longer call here daily. The station buildings, sidings and platform are long gone. There are now more buildings as the town has grown considerably . The timbered hill remains much the same, however.

    This timbered hill has no houses on it but the one overlooking Bunninyong has quite a few these days. Bunninyong has shrunk since its heyday but is now growing again. This town grew a little in gold boom times but more so since WWII.

    It was only a terminus for a few years until the branch was completed.

    Wombat Hill does not tower over Daylesford as Reform Hill towers over this town. They are of similar  size, larger than Boolara.

    Bit hard to figure out some of these 100 years later unless there is something particular that remains...like the hill, but many of them too.

    Anyway, where is this (it is in Victoria):
