Thanks.  Never been to Burcher but shot is characteristic of western wheat belt of southern NSW.

Try this one:

Nearly 48 hours and no bites so time for a clue.

Narrow gauge.  Line closed in 1960's.

Interesting shot. Really interesting. I'll try Mt Perry?

Not the Perry.  A little more built up in this area.

West Ipswich - towards Churchill?
  5915 Chief Commissioner

Not West Ipswich but closer than to Mt Perry.

Another clue is in order.  A little unconventional in these forums but location is near longitude 151.97 E.  Google Earth is your friend.

Well, change the option menu in Google Earth from UTM and see where it is and then change back to UTM. If you don't know how to change UTM, than 151.97E is just west of Allora on the Darling Downs and west of Cabarlah on the Crows Nest line and west of Nanango. I couldn't be bothered debating the merits of various location formats such as 151.97 E / UTM etc as I find people use the one that suits them. My main hobby is air navigation so I use the standard aviation and maritime format.

Given that generous clue, lets try Cabarlah.

Mike - it is Cabarlah though it may just fall into Kleinton.  I had been driving along the road parallel to the road from which this shot was taken for 20 years but only really noticed the formation in the last 12 months.  Well preserved bridge remains for a line that was last active in the early 1960s.

Over to you Mikesyd.

Yes it seemed to be West of Cabarlah and could have been a couple of locations when looking from far above.

My cupboard is thinning out but still have a few. Where is this one?
