3MB2 was yesterday sighted @ Tabletop(North of Albury) with NR14(PN stars)-NR120(NRC) @ around 6:55PM.

Did the NSW North Coast line get effected by the floods around the Northern Rivers Region as the Pacific Highway did ?

Nightfire
Line has remained open some delays here and there but its stayed open atleast to Acacia Ridge. The Xpt to Brisbane was terminated for a few days at Casino due to flooding between ACR and Roma St. But now has returned to regular operations out of Brisbane.

Scott,
The BM2 arrived Melbourne last night @ shortly after 6pm with NR45-AN8-NR55 locos a-b-b

That does not suprize me, consists can and do alter there as do loco combinations. Comes down to requirements.
sashmo

Scott,
3MB2 running late entered Bunbury St tunnel @ 14:11 (about 5 mins into it's trip) with NR15-NR34(PN 4 stars)

Michelle12

sashmo

and 42102 on the back of a truck

Sashmo,
Coming your way :
3MB7 left @ around 7pm with CLF7-CLF3-LDP005 locos a-b-a
3MB4 left @ around 8:40pm with NR83-NR30(PN 4 stars)-NR64 locos a-b-b NR9 was replaced by NR83 as the lead unit, hence the late departure

Michelle
Thanks i just hope MB7 get a good clear run through smeg. Be nice to see a bulldog or two while the suns out.
sashmo

Sashmo,
Here is a shot of the MB7 justl into it's jouney and I was dissappointed with the late departure of the MB4 as by the time it got underway it was too dark to take any worthwhile shots. Also there is an earlier shot with the MB7 locos that had CLP9 on the front which ended up being left behind. Pity about the graffiti on the walls.
CLP7-CLP3-LDP005 have just departed North Dyon on 3MB7 and is about to enter Bunbury St tunnel on Tue 25/1/2011.

Sashmo take 2 :

Michelle
thanks for the shots they look great, i know how you feel about late running. MB7 is meant to be here about 7ish, since New Years Day the earliest it has acheived so far was 1hour 45 minutes late by that stage to dark to get decent shots. I live near the line so its frustrating tohear them rumble through and not be able to get a shot.
sashmo

Sashmo,
Recently I was up in the Hunter Valley, so when I get around to it you will see some coalies(posted in NSW sightings) and some action from Goulburn where I was staying. At Goulburn I was lucky enough to sight 4204, S312, 4403 at the Goulburn workshops respledent in original tuscan livery, C503 in the striking SSR livery which really suits that loco and to finish it off X48 in the PN stars livery.
Roughly if the MB2 which usually leaves Melbourne at around 12:15 to 12:30pm, what time does it pass through Coffs Harbour?
Did you know you can now record your sightings in our new Sightings module?
