Albion 2 has a beautiful picture when you sit and watch it on the big monitor.

Bunbury St camera lenses were cleaned yesterday but we still need to go back on Monday to rectify the waving motion on the night shots that has been occuring when the camera goes into night mode.
The cause is a piece of cable tie that has popped out and is in the way of the camera in question and when it oscillates back and forth(when the wind starts blowing) a lot of false shots are the result.

I can see a black line down daylight images toward the centre left of the image would this be caused by the same issue or is this something else not related to the night problems?

Greetings there @Michelle12Jim, you are correct in that there is a line to the left and as it gets darker in light towards night time, the line becomes brighter and brighter as the images show :

As of about 11:30am this morning, problem with the oscillating piece of cable tie distracting the camera shots has been solved just before the heavens opened and bucketed the place with rain.

Yes there is indeed a PTZ camera on the railcams network. Only for testing purposes. We are considering placing an additional one on the roof at Albion so users can select areas to view.

I have contacted the electric company(Jemena) to get someone out to replace the faulty globe. Hopefully, things should return to normal tonight.

Looks like someone at Big Fish had pulled the power since last Friday night with the resultant no action from Bunbury St. May not be back on until after the Christmas New Year break.
