842 and 850 went to Thevenard early last week, with 1601 and 1604 returning to Port Lincoln for workshops attention. That means that at the moment there are three green 830s and one orange NJ at Thevenard, so the chances of getting an all-green Alco consist on the gypo are reasonable at the moment.
1603 (damaged engine at Moule last year) is in the process of having its replacement engine installed, and should be out for road trials soon.
The last few days have seen some interesting lashups on the grain trains out of Port Lincoln. Yesterday 905/906/1203 ran, leaving neither of the usual shunters in town so 1204/859 did the honours. This morning, 1601 was the jetty shunter and a quad is running with 905/906/848/1203.
