Hi all ,
             My name is Don and I am a very happy member of over 20 years of Altona Miniature Railway and I am a new member of Railpage. I have a 7 1/4" gauge diesel loco named after my wife  ''GRUMPY" or The Box on Wheels its big & ugly just like me. I enjoy the hobby the mateship and the advice not only about our hobby but other advice as well. 

             On New Years Day I was at Grandchester Qld for the day and had a very enjoyable time at the railway and what a wonderful bunch they are, I had a fantastic day , I hope to return next year and if you are going to Altona's Interclub Run in MAY make yourself known and have a drive of "The Box on Wheels". Its nothing fancy but a hell of a lot of FUN.

I used to live sorta out that way but never got around to having a look. When are you open?

I wouldnt put the smiley that far away from your post.
