Currently 2028 and 2015 is on loan to Essendon from Brunswick operating on the 59
5015 and 5016 are operating on Route 19

I saw 2096 yesterday at Collins Street doing some testing, assuming its still operating from East Preston
  mattylovestrains Train Controller

D2.5017 has also been transferred to Brunswick. All three of them have had PID upgrades so they can show Brunswick routes
Also, four Brunswick B2s are currently at East Preston: 2005, 2018, 2096 and 2121. And Essendon's B2.2074 is on loan to Southbank, it ran route 96 services in the morning before returning to Southbank depot around 11am

2023, 124, 136, 162 and 236 are back at their home depots.

Update: A1.235 is no longer loaned to Kew, it is now a Kew tram. I caught it today on route 109 and it has Kew maps.

Seems like 2127 got transferred back to Essendon while 2055 is back at East Preston since 2127 is no longer advertising the Observation Wheel, I assume 2055 is still at East Preston when I saw it on the 112 2 weeks ago.

2015 is either back to loan on East Preston or permanently transferred since Brunswick has those extra D2 trams.

I doubt it. As the D2s move to Brunswick, their Z3s are supposed to be sent to Malvern, but currently only 143 has been sent to Malvern. So has 136, but that had nothing to do with any D2s going to Brunswick, rather it was swapped for 151, which became Brunswick's art tram.

However, I have a feeling B2.2121 may have been swapped for 2010, which is currently at Brunswick.

Camberwell's A2.264 is on loan to Kew, running route 48
Kew's A2.284 is on loan to Camberwell, running route 70

I think I may have found a pattern with some depot changes here:
- E.6003, E.6004 and E.6005 entered service at Southbank
- Southbank's D2.5015, D2.5016 and D2.5017 moved to Brunswick
- Brunswick's B2.2028 is at Essendon
- Essendon's Z3.180 is at Glenhuntly
- Glenhuntly's Z1.1 is no longer serviceable due to a fire.

Z3.180 has been at Glenhuntly since February 11, 2014, which was only 13 days after Z1.1's fire, leading me to believe that 180 was sent to replace 1. Now that Brunswick has three more D2s, it was only a few weeks ago that they were able to send 2028 to Essendon to replace 180.

Some recent depot changes due to the new timetable:
- A1s 234, 236 and 238 have moved from East Preston to Southbank
- A1s 239, 240, 242, 244 and 245 have moved from East Preston to Glenhuntly
- A2s 261, 262, 274, 282, 284, 286, 288, 291, 294, 297, 298 and 299 moved from Kew to Southbank
- Ws 870, 884, 896, 960 and 1005 are now stored, were previously at Glenhuntly. The two best-conditioned Ws from Glenhuntly (881 and 907) have been transferred to Southbank and will be used on route 30 and the City Circle (907 was on route 30 today)

Also, some loans:
- Essendon's Z3.198 and Glenhuntly's Z3.202 are at Malvern
- Malvern's Z1.59 is at Glenhuntly

Hmm... does Kew have enough trams to run their own routes if they moved some of their A2's to Southbank?

Also, though this happened some weeks ago, originally Essendon trams 2042, 2056 and 2096 are back at Essendon from Brunswick and originally Brunswick trams from Essendon 2051, 2087 and 2091 are back at Brunswick as they reswapped trams again from last year.

Well, since Kew lost 24 and 31, they would have enough.

Also, Camberwell and Glenhuntly had a similar "swap-back" (although only one of the trams given to Glenhuntly was actually a Glenhuntly tram before August last year).

Are the C2s remaining at Southbank with this timetable change?

Also will Route 11 now be 100% B class?

yes, they are remaining at Southbank

route 11 will be 100% B class on weekends. On weekdays, it will continue being operated by As and Bs. Remember, East Preston still has 247, 248, 249, 250, 251, 252, 254, 255, 256 and 257.

Yes, that's also why East Preston sent some A1s to Glenhuntly

Today I saw 5003 running route 19, meaning it has been transferred with 6007 in service at Southbank, also 2030 is now back at Essendon, saw it on the 59.

Are you sure about 2030 being at Essendon? I saw it on Burwood Hwy at Vermont South this afternoon.

Also, Southbank's A1.232 is on loan to Glenhuntly, running route 3
Essendon's Z3.118 is on loan to Glenhuntly, ran a route 64 service earlier

^^ I went past Essendon Depot today and saw 2030 being stabled there, so yeah, I believe it got transferred because Brunswick got an extra D2.

Yes, it's there now, but believe me, it was at Camberwell when you made the original post.
Also, Z3.118 has moved to Glenhuntly, and Z1.59 seems to have been sent back to Malvern in exchange for Z1.9

On another note, it's rather silly giving away B2s and keeping Z3s, because 1 and 8 struggle with Z3s. Originally the plan was the D2s at Brunswick would send B2s to routes 1 and 8, Z3s to Malvern, replacing Z1/2s, which would have made more sense.

Earlier this week I did see 2030 running a route 59 to the city, and I assumed it got transferred to Essendon, though I wasn't to sure until I saw 5003 on the 19. Yet again, I could be wrong though if it did got transferred or not.

I thought originally Glenhuntly was meant to get Brunswick's B2's but apparently East Preston and Essendon got the benefit, I always thought Glenhuntly was short of trams.

138 has been at Essendon for weeks now, I assume it got swapped with 194 which is at Brunswick.

Considering 118 is now at Glenhuntly, you're probably right. Similarly, 2028 moved to Essendon to replace 180, which a few months back had gone to Glenhuntly to replace Z1.1 after its fire.

I thought originally Glenhuntly was meant to get Brunswick's B2's but apparently East Preston and Essendon got the benefit, I always thought Glenhuntly was short of trams.

I believe Glenhuntly wan't meant to get any B2s until the last few Es enter service. Originally the plan was:
- Es enter service at Southbank, D2s go to Brunswick, Z3s go to Malvern to replace Z1/2s
- Es enter service at East Preston, A1s and a few Bs go to Glenhuntly to replace Z1/2s.

However, seems things have changed. However, what I don't understand is: when Brunswick got 5001, Z3.143 moved to Malvern. However, when they got 5002, 5015, 5016 and 5017, they gave away 2005, 2015, 2018 and 2121 to East Preston and 2028 to Essendon, meaning they gave away more trams than they gained. I think that's probably why Z3.169 was given to Brunswick after repairs, rather than returning to Malvern, as a late swap for 143, to ensure they had lost an equal amount of trams as they had gained.
138 has been at Essendon for weeks now, I assume it got swapped with 194 which is at Brunswick.

Correct. Similar to earlier this year when Z2.114 was sent to Glenhuntly in exchange for Z1.23

I don't think any B2 was on route 96 today, but there was an Essendon B2 running from Southbank. This morning, B2.2097 was running route 12 services.

Also, E.6010 has entered service and D2.5004 has moved to Brunswick
