New bug.
I clicked on the TRN link to come here : Click here to go straight to this post.
It brought me straight to the correct post. For five seconds. It then took me to the top of the page for five seconds. It then took me to a point below the last post and I found myself looking at the reply window. Which didn't adjust itself in five seconds and I stayed there until I took action myself using the Page Up keyboard button.
There is a bug with the autologin code, which I am working on. The long-implemented, but never used HTTP refresh is what is causing the UI bug you describe.
And on edit I note that the code is displaying for the blue URL and doesn't go away with a refresh. Might only be visible to me.
With any copy+paste, please remember to click the "Remove formatting" button in the rich text editor's controls, or paste in plain text (CTRL+SHIFT+V in Chrome).
It isn't. Possibly related to the fact that my "Last visit" time isn't updating as reported above.
The two sections of code are unrelated

I see nested quotes are back - however the names of the poster are lost except for the last quoted post. Makes it hard to determine who said what.
Yes, and I don't plan on reverse-engineering the incredibly complicated RTE code to fix it either.
If we click on the ads does it help you guys pay for the site? if so I will click away and encourage everyone on here to click once a day.
Yes. As per the "
Sponsored Advertising" link that appears above the advertisement itself:
We use Google AdSense to recover some of the operational costs of running Railpage by placing ads throughout the website. Each time you click on one of these ads and view the website it takes you to, we get a small amount of money. You don't pay anything - the organisation that placed the ad pays.
Cheers
