Golly, you guys are laying it on a bit thick!
Can't you take your political prejudices and start up a dedicated "I hate state Liberals too" tread to compliment the existing "I hate Abbott" and "I hate Turnbull" threads?
You can get it all out of you system there and leave "secular" threads to intelligent, non political discussion.

And that's intelligent?
No Bogong they are not laying it on thick. You are just way too touchy when it comes to any criticism of the last Coalition Government or anything Coalition for that matter.
The Napthine Government did nothing of note except rip $600 Million from the TAFE Sector and had tried to rush through a toll road which they were not going to build according to their manifesto for the 2010 State election in which they duly won. Public Transport in this state is highly politicized and as such we have a right to question policies regarding PT, of which many of the Coalitions was flawed.
Matthew Guy deserves all the criticism heaped on him. He was so pro developer as planning minister it is not funny. And that Clayton's Rail Capacity project, if you believe that would get off the ground the you are kidding yourself. The E-W link would chew all the immediate funds and if they think of constructing the rail link, at best construction will not start until early next decade, after the tollway link is built.
His replies to the Melbourne Metro Project is one of half baked statements and one word cliches such as "botched". How the hell does he know it is botched, is he an engineer? He would get more respect if he had asked intelligent questions like "Why is the lead time for this project so long" and "can you provide detailed costings for the quoted $1 Billion for the South Yarra station?
And as a side note, Malcolm Turnbull is a good decent man, with a social conscience. Tony Abbott a total muppet so good riddence.
