I am wondering that is the steam garret, DC 6029 going to Thirlmere Steam Festival in this weekend? It would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for your replies regarding about DC 6029 in this weekend. I just got a text from a friend, informed me that DC 6029 is in Sydney Terminal now and it is preparing to depart for Thirlmere soon but I don't know what time does it depart. Hope, it is interest you all.

Sorry it didnt run further east to Lithgow as it is a sight to see coming out of the cuttings just west of Rydal under load.
I wonder if Marrangaroo tunnel played a part in its not running this far east due to its length and mostly rising grade in the UP direction??
