Many a good photo has been taken near that bridge.  I recall when working on contracts for the Federal Government after work heading out there to record the Canberra Oil train departing then ACT for Sydney.  The oil train left Canberra right after the last UP Sydney passenger train. When FA had the contract not was usually worked by X class locos.

Original bridge from the days the line was built?

No, the two bridges (Queanbeyan and Burbong) were originally built from laminated timbers.  Of course the glue/sealant used was inadequate for the time and the laminates rotted.  Replaced with steel at a later date.  The piers/abutments are original, but modified to accept the steel superstructure.
