Cobblebank?Weird name the Government has come out of nowhere with.
Where did this come from?

All I'll say is that they seem to have ''cobbled' together a couple of words and boom -"Cobblebank" it is.There is a locality not too far from Toolern known as "Cobbledick`s Ford . It is located on the Werribee River I think .. Is this anything to do with it .?

I do suspect that a station named Cobbledick would not "Get Up "so to speak .
It's named Cobblebank, because it's in a suburb named Cobblebank, which was created sometime last year, so the station name makes sense, no different then alot of other stations.
Now the suburbs name? I don't know, but I do feel like it's purely an estate name turned suburb, such as Botanic Ridge and Weird Views.
