Just as Onan, being sound of body, was command by God to help provide for his brother's family, thus is Mr. Packer, as a wealthy man, commanded to provide for his greater Australian family. But just as Onan took advantage of the situation merely for his own pleasure and failed to deliver as was his duty, providing carnal pleasure perhaps but also being deceptive, thus is Mr. Packer providing an ephemeral carnal pleasure with no hope of lasting reward. As with the Crime of Onan, the Crime of Packer is causing family breakdown and misery. And as with the Crime of Onan, the seed, that is to say the resources he has available which could be put to fruitful use, allowing future stability and prosperity, of Mr. Packer, is being wantonly spilt. Wasteful.
