The Victorian Royal Commission into Crown Resorts has found Crown’s “disgraceful” conduct has made it unsuitable to run its Melbourne casino, but has recommended that immediate cancellation of its licence is not in the best interests of the communityCrown were ALWAYS going to keep their license no matter how inept and corrupt they have been.
Instead the royal commission has recommended the appointment of a “Special Manager” to oversee a path to suitability over a course of two years - but that outcome has not guaranteed.
Commissioner Ray Finkelstein has also recommended limiting 37 per cent shareholder James Packer’s stake to 5 per cent through amendments to the state’s casino regulations in three year’s time, when restrictions on his shareholding levied by NSW’s gaming regulator earlier this year expire.
I'm sure that certain politicians in the Victorian State Govt made it absolutely certain this was going to be the case... Sir Joh/Robert Askin/Brian Burke/Gladys B were saints compared to the current mob running Victoria.Instead of just slagging off all the time, put up some genuine examples of Victorian ALP government corruption that equal those of the politicians you have referred to.
Ray Finklestein is very good at litigation, this is one of the most disturbingly libellous posts I have seen. I hope he tracks you down and litigates against you for every cent you’ll ever have.

Wonderfully put. I could not have put it better myself. One can voice their opposition to Dan Andrews without making baseless assertions.Ray Finklestein is very good at litigation, this is one of the most disturbingly libellous posts I have seen. Whatever you think Victoria’s Dear Leader (and I don’t think much of him, but I also don’t think he’s corrupt) Ray Finklestein is absolutely not, suggesting his findings or an outcome of his commission was predetermined is a disgusting aspersion.
Finklestein had the absolute option to recommend forfeiture of licence, what would come post that recommendation might have been something for you to question the Victorian leadership of, but no recommendation either way was ‘ALWAYS’ going to happen.
Vic ALP supporters, be like:Oh dear, I've upset the #istandwithdan crowd again. On the contrary. You have pleased many of us by demonstrating that you have a baseless anti-ALP stance. Keep slagging off, unsupported as usual, and we'll continue to laugh at you.
Talk about being like Don I mean fair dinkum!! by the way Dan, good on you for ignoring the Anti-Vaxx movement, I hope they are cancelled out of events for a looong time in Victoria, keep up the good work, shame Glady's has let them all loose on December 1!!Vic ALP supporters, be like:Oh dear, I've upset the #istandwithdan crowd again. On the contrary. Oh dear, I've upset the #istandwithdan crowd again.Yeah, if you’d been paying attention, especially in the Covid thread, I am more of a ‘I wish I was there to push him down those stairs again’ kind of guy.
Remember the conversation Lloyd Williams (executor of the Packer estate) had with Dan in 2014?

I don't have any issue with Ray's integrity. I just wonder if the Govt gave him no choice in the matter? i.e. Crown are too big to fail.Oh dear, I've upset the #istandwithdan crowd again.Yeah, if you’d been paying attention, especially in the Covid thread, I am more of a ‘I wish I was there to push him down those stairs again’ kind of guy.

My issue is that you post libellous crap about a very upstanding, highly respected, former judge.
Officially now, one of the things I look forward to most post border reopening is getting you and Don together for a riding a push bike in reverse race, I have never seen two people so good at backpedaling. Seriously, if it were a genuine sport you two would be world class, sure things for the Australian Olympic team - maybe we can get it up as our chosen demonstration sport when the games come to Brisbane.I don't have any issue with Ray's integrity. I suggest a running race between them, both participants have to start from the far right lanes....., I'll show myself out....Officially now, one of the things I look forward to most post border reopening is getting you and Don together for a riding a push bike in reverse race, I have never seen two people so good at backpedaling. You can read the RC terms of reference, you can read Commissioner Finklestein’s findings, he could have removed or restricted Crown’s licence but he chose not to. You’re suggesting he either allowed himself to be ‘guided’ to a finding by terms of reference (because you did say ‘ALWAYS’ as if to imply this was determined before the Commissioner sat), or you’re suggesting he by some way was corrupted into making his findings. It is just so inconceivable that Commissioner Finklestein would put himself in either position that he would have no trouble winning a litigation based on your published comments.
Your assertion is just so patently foolish.
