G'day all

TheLoadedDog™ has given me the honour and privilege of kicking off the Cryptic version of the Where Is It quizs. So, I shall start with the first one....

Clue: The South Line goes through here.

And abiding by the previous specifications of this quiz, this pic is taken within the Suburban area, within a 40km radius of Central on a majorly busy corridor.

The mad bugger who started this thread has done so before bleary-eyed TLD™ here could work out that I thought that pic might be a bit difficult. However, with the clue he's given, I hope it's about just right.

This is an experimental work. I hope we all have a bit of fun, and thanks to Maikha for kick-starting it, because I don't even have the material yet. This thread is to have fun, so just bear in mind the following:
1. Keep it Sydney suburban
2. Go apes**t with doctoring the photos digitally, but the more you do so, the more obvious the original subject needs to be.
3. Have fun, and bear with us as we get this thing going.

Oh yes, and I know the answer to this first pic, so I'm abstaining. Thanks again to Maikha for stepping up to the plate so soon (I'd have been days getting it going).

Just to clarify:

20kms is good. You can take photos of anything in those rail corridors (don't have to be track or trains). Use your common sense and sense of humour. As indicated in the other thread, a dunny door etc is fine. Heck, you can take a photo of a (willing) CityRail employee's face for all we care. The stray dog at Erko. Whatever. It's not got hard and fast rules. It's fun.

'scuse us guys, Maikha and I are just hitting one another over the head with novelty rubber chickens. Very Happy

We'll make it the area bounded by Waterfall, Macarthur, Emu Plains, Berowra, etc. (or I out of date?). If you can catch a dunny-less tin can to it from Central, it's in.

Agreed, Maikha? Very Happy

I know the answer, I know the answer. Its a Vset roaring through the south line, somewhere in the suburban regions of the network.

Am I right?

Westmead?

ie "South" Line being the southern of the running lines rather than the route commonly known as the South line.

Taken at Flemington Markets 100m East of the platforms, but off the goods line.

I must have given too many clues! Embarassed

The track arrangements. That and the mention of the South line to narrow it down.

As per my new standard procedure I will give my turn to Wesley, as my scanner is out of action and I have no digital stuff in Sydney.

Ill PM him.

Oh, and just a suggestion: Can Maikha change the title to:
Sydney - Where is it CRYPTIC VERSION to avoid confusion?

Thanks Pete.

Photos - 20km radius... I need to take my camera out with me more often!!

Try this one, unadulterated and certainly if not within 20km it is within the metropolitan area:
