I might have the answer, Just leaving Sunshine and just after
where those set of points are which turn on to the Ballarat
line, with a Tait motor, Heading towards Ballarat?

No, not there either. I thought this one would be ralitively easy.

Clue: It's near the site of the only closed station between Footscray and Sunshine.

Hmmm. Hard. I've been trundling up and down the Ballarat line looking for somewhere that looks like that but I can't find anywhere. (those 830's or whatever they are are broad gauge aren't they Smile )

Looking a bit more closely I see the track texture is wrong for the Ballarat line. I think. Infact it looks a bit like the Coal Road. I'd better go and check.

I'm not form Sydney but that looks familiar to me. That area might have a special name but it looks like the flyover on the up side of Blacktown.

It's this train: "844/864/858 hauling the "Penrice Stone Train", I would say near Willow Tree or Murrurundi,

BTW Chris, The description is in the photo gallery!

PS: I didn't see any rules about not looking in the gallery first Laughing
