No big deal. Look at the wheels on a real operational loco and you'll notice that they're very shiny! Smile

Definitely - to me this happening would be a bonus, not a problem.

Bought a Lloyds 43 Class the other week, together with the 3 48's and 1 830 on order from trainorama and a mains west 48, lima 42, GM, & CHS. Budget's not looking too crash hot.

Its easier just to put a link to the gallery of my collection than to work out what has been added to my collection since my last post, I've got about another 30 loco's either in the workshops or waiting to enter to add to these photos.

Bluebird 252 get some clear decal paper and paint the decal paper the colour that the green is supposed to be, when it dries after about 24 hrs use a sharp blade to cut out the rectangle the size you want it, then apply the decal as normal, when it is dry overcoat the decal with clear coat gloss and when that dries place the QRNational decal in the right place and then goes as per normal for the decalling, this should give you a nice clean rectangle of green with the logo on top of it.

You could also mask the area you need green and paint it straight on if you are careful! Cool

Hey all, a couple more videos of the wheat wagons.

T395 on the cement and X44 on the wheat train.

After a days work, T395 is seen shunting the wagons in to the sidings to stable.

Hopefully i am going to have more sidings built this week.

After being contacted by an elderly gentleman 3 days before the Stawell Exhibition - whom was getting out of the hobby because of serious illness, i now have -

from the VR's biggest - Heavy Harry to the VR's smallest - Na's x 2,

a complete S.O.P set including a mockup streamlined S

about 9 AV and BV cars

3 W cars

about 20 odd items of VR 4whl rolling stock

+ about 12 unbuilt kits

on a sad note the above gentleman passed away last week, may he rest easy in nowing that what i purchased has come to a good home.

cheers
ian

Thanks NR109. I like taking shots on the granite kitchen table or glass table as I think they give the best grounding for the loco. Smile
