Today I drove down to turntable hobbies and got a very nice surprise to see a VR/VSX long wagon for $40, Complete with shunting steps, well doneup. This wagon rides great on my layout.

This new sticky forum is for people who brought new rollingstock only.

Hey K160. Just becareful on your new Hornsby Flying Scotsman. I got one of these new locomotives and they are very quick race horse. With my Scottie I have to slap a long train behind it to stop it taking off so quick. Laughing Laughing

Today I had the one of my smart quick bids on Ebay and found myself of winning
my very first brass locomotive know as The VR R 707 For $501. According to this model R class steam locomotive is not a steam era version. It,s a model Dockyard version.

The Victorian Hobby Centre finally got delivery of the mech units for their Weico whitemetal tram kits. Yay Very Happy

I've fit it into the body and everything seems to fit well so I'll probably spent Thursday and Friday (last day of school is tomorrow) painting and detailing the body. Primer... Base Colour... Top Colour... Decals... Clear Coat... urg!

Expect pics when I get it looking all pretty. Very Happy

Well getting back to the subject. T357 I won off ebay arrived today. Apart from the front coupler falling off, it's great.
