Hey There!

Ive recently bought trainz and absolutely love it (trainz 2004) ive downloaded these trains:

V/ G Class
V/ B Class
V/ S Class
few V/ coaches etc

now im just wondering if anyone is aware of any other vic locos or rollingstock thats 'freeware' - ive been avid msts fan and believe in freeware only. the B class is the best ever!

Also in the actual sim in a double ended loco like the G and B class is it possible to change ends? as in if your doing a run around? im using a turntable at the moment but would rather that way- is it possible?

I would happily buy payware if i could get some good quality vic stock like a N, P, T, Y & A Class locos/ detailed BS/ BRS etc carriages and freight cars.

Any help whatsoever would be appreciated

PS im going 2 build a layout soon - scale model of south geelong - geelong and then release addons etc to north geelong etc etc at a later date. if anyone can assist me with making models etc so i can release it quicker also please let me know. im also NOT new to this forum - check the amount of my posts so i can promise that htis route will be made but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Glad your having fun with TRS2004 Comeng 315M.

Unfortunately I can't think of too much Victorian content other than what you just mentioned, but theres an S class reskin into WCR scheme with matching carriages, also some FA S class reskin, and the Y class, all made by John_SB.

Yes you can change ends in a double ended loco by clicking "run around"
Once will change ends twice will send the loco to the other end of the train.

Just remebered another freeware item on the DLS, the VR T class by colhad.

With regard to changing ends, it is possible to do so, I've forgotton what key it is now, but the model has to be configured for it. As Rob Shaw's G class is a pre-UTC model, it doesn't have this feature.

G'day,

You can also change cabs while in internal view by pressing Alt-C. This saves using the turntable.

That's looking good, these will also come in handy for getting details for the MSTS versions. I'm also currently d/l the route, still got 1 hr 15 mins to go Shocked Can't wait to run them.

I've just installed the PB trians and route, but the route wont' appear in the menu and the NA's won't move (havn't tried the G yet). Does anyone know what I've done wrong? (btw I've got TRS2004 and the route d/l and installed itself)

I had the same problem regarding the route. Browse to C:\Program Files\Auran\TRS2004\World\Dispatcher\Downloads\kuid 51812 100814 and open the config.txt file - there was a slight error made in the config that means that the route won't show unless you have v2.4 of Trainz installed - ie TRS2004 SP 4 - which hasn't even been developed yet. Simply edit the offending entry in the config.txt file...

trainz-build 2.4

by changing the 2.4 to 2.2. Should work fine after that.

Regarding the NA's, haven't got round to testing them yet.
