Just a quick snap of the WT I built two months ago. Once the R is finished I'll give this an undercoat with the same etch primer.

Funny thing is, I did the WT as my first brass etch kit, you've done the reverse (locos first then a wagon!)
Looks good too.

Bit of work done lately only to run out of paint.
Branchline has none but has some ordered for me but I'll have to wait.
Might need another bottle before I finish this lot plus a few more, couple of kitbashed IT's and HD's, 5 B vans, 3 more FQX's, 4 IY's, 2 15' T vans, 2 10'6" T vans and anything else I find on the bench.
Some of these will be for sale.
More photo's here.

Hi,
I have finished my AEC, fully painted and decoder installed.
Sorry for the grainy photo, the light was poor. I'll see if I can improve it tomorrow.
People tell me they run slowly, I know the fix! But they are never lightning fast.
Cheers

An update on my current projects:
-AW car: Slowly being put together.
-B van: Nearly finished, just requires decals.
-C guards van: Currently in the paint shop.
-M van: The second of the 2 I currently have. In the paint shop.
-TW tank car: A modified Bachmann tanker. In the paint shop.
Today I went and bought a SEM HD kit and a SEM I wagon kit. Within 2 hours of purchase the HD van is together and is ready for paint:
More updates later this month.
Regards
Matthew Davis

Great looking model you have there!! I must get one of these kits to go with my 1930's PERM.

Nice work James.
Just wondering, those BGB kits, did you buy them recently, or have you had them for a while? Been after some BGB stuff myself for ages and would be interested to know if they are finally producing stuff again?

Yeah, they are all recent (within the last 6 months) and the numbers in stock in the stores are increasing, so BGB is getting back on track. The polyurethane is definitely much better as well

Thats good news, same with the poly', I noticed the castings are a lot whiter in colour, should make kitbashing a lot easier.
