How do you post pictures here?
You have to upload your photo onto the internet ie. Fotopic. Then you simply copy the picture's URL, then click onto the "[img]" button on the top row of buttons when you post reply. Paste the URL there. Then click on the "[img]" button again, and preview the page to ensure the image has indeed been uploaded onto the forum. Then simply submit. Very Happy

I finally got around to getting a better photo. In this one you can see lots of mistakes, but it looks ok from a distance.

Let me know your thoughts / suggestions as I'm about to do the stream lined SEM S Class or maybe a water tank to get more practice....

Cheers

BGB CSX coil steel wagon (this will have a tarpaulin, so the frame is much thicker than what it would be if it was open):

Lol, I do have a day job (I work in the IT sector). Just don't need to do any overtime in my current job, so I have more spare time than I used to. Smile

Currently have 2 complete, painted, and decalled RCWF's on my desk. Also an auscision RQIW painted but awaiting decals, and a foreign order for a good mate of 6 NHFF's to be painted and decalled. 1 is ready for decalling and the other 5 have their interiors painted so far.
Who knows what else may be on the desk after this weekend's model show here in Newy?

Painted 6 NHFF's myself today as the weather was perfect. Another 18 to go.
Just out of curiosity what colours did you use?
Cheers

Haha, I'm up to the 3rd '6 pack' of 24 wagons!
I brush them with various shades of humbrol matt colours, 2 shades of brown, grey, black, and a bit of white, and not to mention silver for the interior. I mix them as I paint using some turps and you end up with no wagon the same in a rake. Trick is to brush vertically not horizontally on the wagon. I think locos should be spray painted and weathered later, but when doing weathered and rusty wagons I prefer doing it that way.

Adelaide 'H358'.
Adelaide H358
'Glenelg Tram' - nearing completion, decals and destination signs to be done tomorrow.
I know the liverie's incorrect, but to make it prototypical (maroon in the inner-window panes among other places) would be a nightmare to paint!

Well after a long unwanted break from modelling, I have finally been able to begin again. Currently sitting on my bench is:

5 S wagons
1 NGGF hopper
2 OCY wagons.

Will post pics as I progress.
