Things couldn't get worse for City Rail yesterday.

In morning I went to Parramatta and trains were approximately 10 mins late. Luckily I caught one of few remaining Cumberland line services around 8am. It takes about 20 mins to get to Parramatta with Cumberland line but if you have to change at Granville it takes from 40 mins to one hour depending on situation. I dunno why they are going to cancel it(refering to Rail Clearways). Well it's alredy canceled with number of services slashed down.

In afternoon I went to St Lenards and when coming back train stoped just out of Redfern and it was delayed there for about 15 mins. It proceeded another few kms and stoped for another 15-30mins. When passing Stanmore station there was a Millenium train stoped on track with open doors and lot of police around. I spent another half an hour at Granville waiting for connecting train to Liverpool. Later on I heard from tranist officers that there was death.

correct there was.

Its just something that happens, but it has been happening a little bit too often (1 is too often thou) lately, i dont know who the person was or anything, but its sad that it happened at this time of year.

But, I think cityrail did a very good job yesterday. I got to Town Hall at 430 and the first train that came was my quick one back to Campbelltown. When its good its great!
