Who actually owns GSR? What does GSR own and what does it lease? What is its history?

Serco only now since they purchased all the shares from them around 1999/2000....for a short period of time "Freight Victoria" was involved, probably they wanted FV to haul their service...(hmm X class head Overland, how good is that?? or imaging G class head Indian Pacific with desert filler fuel tanker). Serco started up as a catering company for hospitals in UK. (hmmm compare hospital canteen food with Indian Pacific food...)

Then they expand into engineering maintain service for maintain factory facilities and took over operation of London Dockland light rail, as well as run "Cargo Sprinter" type maintain track machine to maintain some railtracks in UK. Serco also operates O-bahn buses in Adelaide, maintain Medlbourne Water's water pipe and pump system. (does Overland gets water for free in Melbourne?)

Their track record.....well someone once said this to me, "you can't expect a company that make sandwich in hospital canteen to run long distance train can't you?"

Hey?..whatever happen to my warning level?
