Well Matt, seen as you are doing the K as well as the D3, why not have a crack at a J-class. The only modifications you would need to make to the K would be German smoke deflectors, altered smokebox, altered cab and your done. This is only a suggestion. Keep up the good work Cool

There's a bit more to a J class than just that. The boiler is mounted higher on a J to make it suitable for gauge conversion.

Yeah!

The D3 is nearly done! The loco itself is finished and I'm adding final detail to the tender. There'll be a happy surprise for people when it's released!
