It was originally Mortuary Station No1 from the Rookwood cemetery line. It was taken apart stone by stone & re-assembled in Anslie.

BTW, the bell in it is from Newnes Shay #4 !!!

Not quite, Gazza - the bell is from one of the Shay locos used on the Wolgan Valley Railway, but from Shay #1, aka "Constance". This loco was broken up well before the shale oil works closed and the bell's first non-railway use was as a firebell @ an oil refinery @ Clyde - probably John Fell's Duck Creek Refinery, since John Fell took over the works @ Newnes after Commonwealth Oil Corporation went into liquidation. Later it was acquired privately, then donated for use in the church @ Ainslie.

However, the bell of Shay#4 did get used in a church, the Anglican one @ nearby Wallerawang for some years, but is now privately stored.
