I have received several reports that Silverton Rail are using a "C" Class on RIC trains around Sydney. Has anyone actually seen one or taken a photo of one that could be sent to me?

The C Class in has been at RIC's MTS Chullora yard during this week.

Heard that Silverton had to give two C classes back to Pac Nat and recieved six 48's in exchange. One in Freight Corp colours is currently on the Seatons train at Sandown.

i think that they might exchange the 2x C class (back to PN) and use the 48s for the branchline work.

If it's C505 and C508, the NRC-liveried ones which shunt the steel terminal here in Melbourne, I understood that PN were going to lease them back. Was there a change of plan?

I saw Cs1 double headed with 45s1, standing next to 442s6( i think) , up the line from 8004, at macarthur not last saturday but the one before!

Cs1 appears to have been already worked on for repainting but not final coat has been applied

I havent seen it since

Thanks for the info. Do you, or anyone have any idea what the former numbers of the "C"s were to what they are now with Silverton?
